The Orthodox Metropolitanate of Hong Kong was founded with the decision of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople in 1996 after being detached from the Orthodox Metropolitanate of New Zealand. In the same year it was recognized by the Government of Hong Kong.
The Divine Liturgy at Saint Luke Orthodox Cathedral in Hong Kong is celebrated every Sunday at 10.00 AM.
