On October 14, Metropolitan Nektarios of Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, assisted by Fathers Melchisedek (Abbot of Saint Nicholas Monastery in Tripoli, Greece) and Vassilios (preacher-priest of Holy Metropolitanate of Thebes, Greece), celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Luke in Hong Kong for the Synaxis of Apostle and Evangelist Luke. Many pious faithful attended the holy service with many partaking in Holy Communion.

Metropolitan Nektarios spoke about the life of the Apostle and Evangelist Luke, who is the protector of the Orthodox Community in Hong Kong. A festal reception with all the faithful was held following the divine service.
